Labeled as anything from math to prog to pop but feeling most comfortable in the plain guise of rock, Bend Sinister of Vancouver BC have evolved through numerous styles and absorbed a plethora of influences to become a band so refreshingly original that the struggle to categorize them is a losing battle.
Bend Sinister began with the heart and soul known as Dan Moxon, who’s vocal gymnastics, paired with his frenetic, imaginative keyboard pace, has solidified him as one of the most memorable, captivating front men in Canada today. Joined by a murderers row of Rock N Roll personalities, including the tone explosion Joseph Blood on guitar, the fur with the fuzz Matt Rhode on bass guitar, the ferocious Dicky Neptune crushing the drums and rounding up the line up, the trumpet blasting, tambourine queen, Kristy-Lee Audette. They team up to provide a fun filled dance party taking you on a journey reminding us why we believe in Rock N’ Roll.
All we know is that they love playing. And more and more people are finding out that they love listening.
