On May 15th, Gothenburg legends Horisont’s latest album “Sudden Death” will be released worldwide on Century Media Records. Their European tour was set to begin May 14th to promote this masterpiece of an album allowing them a chance to shove their version of 70’s/80’s rock right in your face, live, in a town near you.
Enter: Covid-19. The destroyer of all things epic.
So to compensate for this bastard virus’s never-ending mission to destroy all things fun, the guys have decided to do a livestream for you so they can rock your faces off from the comfort of your own home, with much cheaper beer than you’d get at any venue!
The band states:
Listen up people! All is not to shit with the world. In times like these, things just have to be handled a bit different. When life hands you lemons and so on… So instead of showing you all our ugly faces in your town, we are broadcasting a world wide live concert from our favourite venue; Pustervik in Gothenburg.
Together with us on May 16th, we will have excellent support in the form of SPIDERS. The concert will be free of charge but an option to donate some change both to us and/or Pustervik will be made available to viewers to keep the rock scene going during these testing times. Date of the show is 16th of May, the Saturday after the world release of our new masterpiece SUDDEN DEATH on Century Media Records, out May 15th.
We’ll also have a special very limited event shirt available for sale. Expect the unexpected, as well as some new songs performed live for the first time with a healthy dose of the classics. SPIDERS hit the stage at 21:00 CEST.
